I heard a new version recently by Fyfe Dangerfield and I think it’s a fantastic cover. Not sure whether it’s as good as Billy’s rendition though, but it’s well worth a listen.
You and I seem to have the same tastes in music. First Neil Diamond (one of my all-time favorite artists) then “She’s Only a Woman” by Billy Joel – a classically beautiful song.

Well, I couldn’t even get the name of the song right (it’s “always” Anne, not “only!”)
Oh well, I was incredibly tired when writing that comment…but I commented anyway (do I get a sticker or something?)
Actually, I have very eclectic tastes. Really the only genres I don’t listen to are hip-hop and rap…though my 16-year old son and I have been known to break dance in the kitchen when some hip-hop comes on.
My favorite decade would have to be the ’70′s…but I love music from the last 40 to 50 years (and beyond).
