Sublime Music On Selfish Saturday
Today’s offering is from Neil Diamond and of course it’s the classic Song Sung Blue.
Hope your Saturday doesn’t leave you with the blues.
Lyrics – Song Sung Blue
Song sung blue
Everybody knows one
Song sung blue
Every garden grows one
Me and you are subject to the blues now and then
But when you take the blues and make a song
You sing them out again
Sing them out again
Song sung blue
Weeping like a willow
Song sung blue
Sleeping on my pillow
Funny thing, but you can sing it with a cry in your voice
And before you know, start to feeling good
You simply got no choice
Me and you are subject to the blues now and then
But when you take the blues and make a song
You sing them out again
Song sung blue
Everybody knows one
Song sung blue
Every garden grows one
Funny thing, but you can sing it with a cry in your voice
And before you know, start to feeling good

OMG! I LOVE THIS SONG! LOVE IT!
(and now I feel totally old lol)
Hi Tex, that’s brilliant!! I’m glad you liked it!
I’ve such a wide taste in music but I;ve always loved Neil Diamond’s music. I remember this from my early years and hearing it takes me back to some carefree days. (and I feel totally old too) LOL
He is still at it at 69. Like fine wine, he gets better with age.
