Yeah, it feels like the blogging elite spent the whole of August promoting each others books, or products. As a result I ended up dumping most of them from my feed reader. I suppose I’d do the same in their position.
Making money from a blog is difficult, especially if you rely solely on social traffic, because as I’ve found over the last year, social traffic won’t click the ads. I suppose the trick is to draw traffic through the search engines without it looking too obvious to savvy social readers?
As for the Space Hoppers… did your hubby read the post? Or was it the classical music he came to listen to?? LOL

Hey welcome back! Yes it’s a clique – I think it depends on whether you blog for therapy, to fill time or for money!!!!! and the ones that blog for money stand out like a sore “I blog for money”. Cool post and my hubby came in to read it (which is rarer than a four eyed albino ostrich) – incidently the woman laughing in the 3rd video sounds exactly like me, unbelievably like me, I’m sure I would recall filming that!!!

I’ve never even been to Harrods so you’ve got one up on me there. As for M&S, I’m there all the time. Good clothes at M&S but probably not as good as Harrods. Good for you for taking them on!
